Regulations on procedure for conducting state examination and assessment of inventories of minerals

1. This Provision determines procedure and conditions of conducting state examination and assessment of inventories of minerals.

2. The purpose of state examination and assessment of inventories of minerals is:

objective assessment of mineral resources of the country on the basis of single scientific and methodical criteria;

ensuring reliability of the estimated inventories of minerals and compliance of their qualitative indexes to the planned directions of use;

creation of conditions for the most complete, economically rational and complex use of inventories of mineral deposits with observance of requirements concerning protection of subsoil and the surrounding environment;

carrying out comparative assessment of quantitative and qualitative indexes of inventories of minerals, their geografo-economic, mining-and-geological, hydrological and other conditions of bedding for determination of actual industrial value;

ensuring compliance with single approach to determination of technical and economic and financial performance of the economic activity connected with mining within the specific subsoil plot;
