Art. I. - Article 52 of the Code of the Republic of Moldova about offenses No. 218/2008 (repeated publication: 2017, 100), with subsequent changes to state the official monitor of the Republic of Moldova to Art. No. 78-84, in the following edition:

"Article 52. Election propaganda

Continuation of election propaganda or propaganda in support of holding referendum in ballot day in the polling precinct or at entrance to the room of the polling precinct

attracts imposing of penalty on physical persons in the amount of 15 to 30 conventional units and on officials or candidates on elections in the amount of 35 to 50 conventional units.".

Art. II. - In the Code about elections No. 1381/1997 (repeated publication: The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2017, Art. No. 451-463, 768), with subsequent changes to make the following changes:

1. Part (Article 52 to state 10) in the following edition:

"(10) In the election day in the polling precinct or at entrance to the room of the polling precinct election propaganda in any form is forbidden.".

2. Part (Article 169 to add 1) with the text: "If the republican referendum is organized on the same day, as parliamentary elections, constituencies and county electoral councils are formed according to the criteria established in Articles 80 and 81.".

Art. III. - This law becomes effective from the date of publication.
