About modification and amendments in the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan "About library activities"

Article 1. Bring in the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan of August 1, 2003 "About library activities" (Akhbori of Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, 2003, No. 8, Art. 455; 2008, No. 12, h 2, Art. 1013; 2010, No. 12, h 1, Art. 838; 2013, No. 7, Art. 536) following changes and amendments:

1. To state preamble of the Law in the following edition:

"This Law governs the public relations connected with protection, use, search, receipt of information and open entry to scientific and technical achievements, world and national culture in the field of library activities.".

2. Article 1 in paragraph three to replace the word "powers" with the word "tasks".

3. In part one of Article 5 of the word "the education level, physical and mental condition, social and property status" shall be replaced with words "social property status, education, age, physical and psychological state".

4. In paragraph five of part one of Article 11 of the word "legal entities and physical persons" shall be replaced with words "physical persons and legal entities".

5. To exclude from part three of Article 12 of the word "and constituent documents of libraries".

6. In Article 18 part three:

- paragraphs two, the third and thirteenth to state in the following edition:

"-the organization of library stock and its providing with the documents and publications published in Tajik in the territory of Tajikistan or about Tajikistan, irrespective of the place of their edition;
