About introduction of amendments to the Constitution of Ukraine (rather strategic rate of the state on acquisition of full membership of Ukraine in the European Union and in the North Atlantic Treaty Organization)

I. Bring in the Constitution of Ukraine (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 1996, No. 30, the Art. 141) such changes:

1. The paragraph the fifth preambles after words of "civil consent on the earth of Ukraine" to add with the words "and confirming the European identity of the Ukrainian people and irreversibility of the European and Euro-Atlantic rate of Ukraine".

2. 5 parts one of Article 85 to state Item in the following edition:

"5) determination of fundamentals of domestic and foreign policy, realization of strategic rate of the state on acquisition of full membership of Ukraine in the European Union and in the North Atlantic Treaty Organization".

3. Add Article 102 with part three of the following content:

"The president of Ukraine is guarantor of realization of strategic rate of the state on acquisition of full membership of Ukraine in the European Union and in the North Atlantic Treaty Organization".

4. Add Article 116 with Item 1-1 of the following content:

"1-1) provides realization of strategic rate of the state on acquisition of full membership of Ukraine in the European Union and in the North Atlantic Treaty Organization".

5. To exclude Item 14 of the Section XV "Transitional provisions".

II. This Law becomes effective from the date of, its publication following behind day.
