In pursuance of the Presidential decree of the Republic of Tajikistan of November 18, 2000 "About increase in minimum wage, the tariff charges and salaries of workers of separate categories of the budget sphere and measures for strengthening of social protection of the most vulnerable segments of the population" the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan decides No. 431:

1. Accept to management that the Presidential decree of the Republic of Tajikistan of November 18, 2000 No. 431 since January 1, 2001:

a) the minimum size of the salary established in the Republic of Tajikistan by 3 times is increased (3 somoni a month);

b) pensions to pensioners which are granted pensions till January 1, 1996 and having working life for award of pension, are increased by one minimum pension on age.

2. To the ministry of social protection of the population of the Republic of Tajikistan to develop the mechanism of realization of Item 16 of this resolution.
