Article 1. To state part 1 of Article 258 of the Code of penal procedure of the Republic of Armenia of July 1, 1998 (further - the Code) in the following edition:

"1. The investigator without delay sends with the proper notice to the victim, the civil claimant, the civil defendant or their representatives, and also in the cases provided by Items 3-5 of part of 1 Article of 31 of this Code, to the person accused and his defender the decision on cessation of production on criminal case, having explained procedure and terms of appeal of the decision.".

Article 2. In article 262 of the Code:

Part 1 to state 1) in the following edition:

"1. The investigator without delay sends with the proper notice to the suspect, the person accused, the defender, and also the victim, his representative, the civil claimant, the civil defendant or their representatives, and also the representative of physical person or legal entity based on whose statement criminal case, the decision on cessation of production on criminal case and about the termination of criminal prosecution is brought, having explained their rights to acquaintance with case papers and procedure and terms of appeal of the decision.";

Article 3. This Law becomes effective for the tenth day after its official publication.
