About amendment of the Presidential decree of the Republic of Belarus

For the purpose of ensuring proper level of safety in case of operation of the Belarusian nuclear power plant, optimization of licensing of activities in the field of use of atomic energy I decide:

1. Bring in the Presidential decree of the Republic of Belarus of February 16, 2015 No. 62 "About safety in case of construction of the Belarusian nuclear power plant" the following amendments:

1.1. to add the name of the Decree after the words "in case of construction" with the words "and operation";

1.2. add Item 1 with subitems 1.5-1.8 of the following content:

"1.5. licensing of activities in the field of use of atomic energy is performed according to legal acts taking into account the features established in subitems 1.7 and 1.8 of this Item;

1.6. for occupation the activities connected with control of radioactive pollution on the Belarusian nuclear power plant and objects according to the treatment of radioactive waste, availability of special permission (license) for the right of implementation of the specified type of activity is not required;

1.7. Ministry of Emergency Situations:

makes changes and (or) additions to special licensed requirements and conditions, data on which are specified in special permission (license) for the right of implementation of activities in the field of use of atomic energy and sources of ionizing radiation;

determines:

the list of the performed works influencing safety and the services provided to the operating organizations, including construction of facilities, in the field of use of atomic energy on which accomplishment and provision special permission (license) for the right of implementation of activities in the field of use of atomic energy and sources of ionizing radiation is required;

the list of processing equipment for subjects to use of atomic energy on which designing and production special permission (license) for the right of implementation of activities in the field of use of atomic energy and sources of ionizing radiation is required;
