About introduction of amendments to the Law on social protection of the citizens who were injured owing to the Chernobyl catastrophic crash, No. 909/1992
The Parliament adopts this organic law.
Art. I. – The law on social protection of the citizens who were injured owing to the Chernobyl catastrophic crash, No. 909/1992 (repeated publication: 2004, page No. 80-82, 413), with subsequent changes to add the official monitor of the Republic of Moldova with Article 21-1 of the following content:
"Article 21-1. Increase in pensions
(1) the Pensions granted according to article 15 of this law increase as follows:
– to persons with heavy limited opportunities – on 400 lei;
– to persons with the expressed limited opportunities – on 300 lei;
– to persons with average limited opportunities – on 200 lei.
(2) the Pensions granted according to article 16 of this law increase by 200 lei counting on each family member.".
Art. II. – The pensions granted till January 1, 2019 according to articles 15 and 16 of the Law on social protection of the citizens who were injured owing to the Chernobyl catastrophic crash to No. 909/1992, increase according to provisions of this law since January 1, 2019.
Art. III. – This law becomes effective since January 1, 2019.
