About features of crossing by the Russian and foreign vessels of frontier of the Russian Federation at the sea

According to article 9.1 of the Law of the Russian Federation "About Frontier of the Russian Federation" the Government of the Russian Federation decides:

1. Establish the following cases in which vessels can repeatedly cross frontier of the Russian Federation at the sea without passing boundary, customs (regarding making of the customs transactions connected with arrival (departure) of courts) and other types of control:

a) for the courts specified in the subitem "an" of Item 1 of article 9.1 of the Law of the Russian Federation "About Frontier of the Russian Federation":

departure of the Russian courts from the Russian ports for the purpose of merchant shipping in internal sea waters, in the territorial sea, exclusive economic zone and (or) on the continental shelf of the Russian Federation with the subsequent arrival in the Russian ports;

navigation of foreign vessels between the Russian ports, and also their departure from the Russian ports in internal sea waters or to the territorial sea of the Russian Federation for the purpose of merchant shipping, except for the activities connected with use of courts for fishery with the subsequent arrival in the Russian ports;

navigation of the Russian and foreign vessels between the Russian ports with calling the territorial seas of foreign states in case of pass through the Baltic, Okhotsk or Japanese seas and passages adjoining them, and also the Kattegat Straits and Skagerak;

departure of the Russian icebreaker ships from the Russian ports in the exclusive economic zones and (or) the territorial seas of foreign states located in the Baltic, Okhotsk and Japanese seas for implementation of icebreaking posting with the subsequent arrival in the Russian ports;
