About modification and amendments in the Law of the Republic of Armenia "About physical culture and sport"

Article 1. "About physical culture and sport" (further - the Law) to state the text of article 1 of the Law of the Republic of Armenia of June 26, 2001 to ZR-196 in the following edition:

"The physical culture is part of national culture. The sport based on fair play, respect and cooperation is considered as means of rapprochement of the people, adjustments of the world and friendship.

This Law regulates and establishes the principles of state policy in the field of physical culture and sport of basis of organization-legal and financial and economic system of physical culture and sport, and also the principles which shall be observed for integration to the international sports movement.".

Article 2. To add article 2 of the Law with the Item "m" of the following content:

"l) the athlete - the person who is regularly doing any sport and having the sports grade in this sport.".

Article 3. The first paragraph of article 4 of the Law after the word "promotes" to add with the words "also helps".

Article 4. To add article 5 of the Law with the Item "e" of the following content:

Article 5. To add article 6 of the Law with the Item "z" of the following content:

"h) providing with social protection if in the course of professional sports activity athletes become disabled people.".

Article 6. In article 9 of the Law:
