1. This Provision determines procedure for certification of issue of the certificate on technical condition of locomotives, cargo and cars (further "railway vehicles").
2. The central certification body of railway vehicles in the territory of the Republic of Tajikistan is the Ministry of transport of the Republic of Tajikistan.
3. Main objectives of certification of railway vehicles are:
- ensuring proper technical condition of the railway vehicles rendering services to legal entities and physical persons;
- creation, forming, development and enhancement of the market of transport services to conforming normative and technical requirements existing in the territory of the Republic of Tajikistan, CIS and Baltic countries.
4. All railway vehicles rendering services on transportation of passengers, loads, cargo baggage and baggage on suburban, long-distance and international carriages are subject to certification.
5. Frequency of certification is established by the Ministry of transport of the Republic of Tajikistan according to requirements of the regulating documents.
6. Certification of railway vehicles is carried out at the companies and the organizations of the Tajik railroad.
