About modification of the Competition act No. 183/2012
The Parliament adopts this organic law.
Single Article. - The competition act No. 183/2012 (2012, Art. No. 193-197, 667), with subsequent changes, to add the official monitor of the Republic of Moldova with article 25/1 of the following content:
"Article 25/1. Assessment of economic concentration in the field of mass media
(1) Special legal acts in the field of mass media can provide threshold values for submission of the notification on economic concentration, other than the threshold values given in part (1) Article 22.
(2) Special legal acts in the field of mass media can provide the market shares implying availability of dominant position other than the share established in part (4) Article 10.
(3) Council for television and radio annually till March 1 submits to Competition council the report on vygodopriobretayushchy owners in the field of TV and radio broadcasting with application of copies of the documents having relation to it.
(4) Council for television and radio informs Competition council on established facts with signs of economic concentration in the field of TV and radio broadcasting and provides it all information having relation to it.".
