About modification of article 97 of the Law on electronic communications No. 241/2007

Art. I. - Article 97 of the Law on electronic communications No. 241/2007 (repeated publication: 2017, Art. No. 399-410, 679), with subsequent changes to add the official monitor of the Republic of Moldova with parts (12) - (18) the following content:

"(12) In departure from part (18) the article 25 Agency has the right:

(13) as compensation for the consent of the owner of the license according to Item and) parts (12) this Article on restriction of the territory in which the license is valid the Agency has the right to extend the validity of licenses to use of radio channels or radio frequencies established in Item and) parts (27) Articles 26, on the additional period which is not exceeding five years. The licenses to use of radio channels or radio frequencies prolonged according to this part and also additional period on which the validity of licenses is extended are established by the Government on the basis of the consent of the owner of the license.

(14) In departure from part (30) articles 26 the license fee for prolongation of effective period of the license to use of radio channels or radio frequencies according to part (13) this Article is not levied.

(15) In departure from part (31) Article 26 of the license to use of radio channels or radio frequencies, stipulated in Item) parts (12) this Article, are issued by direct provision to the authorized supplier at whom the network of land mobile cellular electronic communications public in administrative and territorial units of left bank of Dniester and Bender's municipium is already built.
