About modification and amendments in the Economic Procedure Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan

Article 1. Bring in the Economic Procedure Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan approved by the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan of January 24, 2018 No. ZRU-461 (Sheets of chambers of Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, 2018, appendix 2 to No. 1, No. 7, the Art. 433, No. 10, Art. 672; 2019, No. 3, Art. 161), following changes and amendments:

Part the second Article 162 to state 1) in the following edition:

"Actions for preparation of case for legal proceedings can be stated in determination about adoption of the action for declaration to production and initiation of proceedings, except as specified holding pre-judicial meeting by preparation of case for legal proceedings";

Article 163 to add 2) with part three of the following content:

"By preparation of case for legal proceedings the judge on the disputes arising from civil legal relationship, except for the cases considered according to the procedure of the simplified production within ten days from the date of adoption of the action for declaration to production and initiations of proceedings can hold pre-judicial meeting according to the procedure, established by this Code";

To add 3) with Article 163-1 of the following content:

"Article 163-1. Pre-judicial meeting

When holding pre-judicial meeting judge:

1) interviews the claimant on the substance of the requirements declared to them, finds out from him objections, possible from the defendant, and if it is necessary, suggests the claimant to produce corroborating evidences, and also explains right of surrender from the declared requirements and its consequence in law;
