About introduction of amendments to some laws of Ukraine concerning enhancement of activities of the State bureau of investigations

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

I. Make changes to such laws of Ukraine:

1. In the Law of Ukraine "About operational search activities" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 1992, No. 22, Art. 303 with subsequent changes):

The paragraph third to state 1) to part one of Article 5 in the following edition:

"The state bureau of investigations - operational, operating-technical, internal control, ensuring personal security";

The third offer of part three of article 9 after words "The director of the State bureau of investigations" to add 2) with the words "or his authorized deputy, head of territorial authority or its authorized deputy";

The first offer of part two of Article 9-1 after words "The director of the State bureau of investigations" to add 3) with the words "or his authorized deputy".

2. In the Law of Ukraine "About the State bureau of investigations" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 2016, No. 6, Art. 55 with subsequent changes):

1) in Item of 1 part one of Article 7 of the word "investigative and secret investigative" shall be replaced with words "operational search activities, investigative (search) and secret investigative (search)";

Part the fifth articles 9 after words "legal entities" to add 2) with words of "public law";

3) in Article 13:

add part one with paragraphs of the following content:

"The citizen of Ukraine who can be the director of territorial authority of the State bureau of investigations:

has the higher legal education;

has length of service in branch of law at least seven years (after receipt of the higher education);

has work experience on executive positions at least three years;

is fluent in state language.

The citizen of Ukraine who can be the division manager of central office of the State bureau of investigations:

has the higher education according to activity of division;
