Chapter 1. General provisions

Article 1. Subject of regulation of this Law

Subject of regulation of this Law are the public relations developing in the field of pricing in the course of forming and use of free and regulated prices (rates) for goods (works, services).

Article 2. Legislation on pricing

The legislation in the field of pricing is based on the constitution of the state, the law on the government budget, the civil code, the antitrust law, the legislation on transfer pricing, the legislation on state regulation of pricing, the industry legislation; considers provisions of the international regulatory legal acts, agreements, agreements in the field of economic cooperation.

The legislation on pricing consists of this Law and other regulatory legal acts adopted according to it.

Article 3. The basic concepts used in this Law

1. For the purposes of this Law the following basic concepts and their determinations are applied:

the price - monetary value of cost of commodity unit;

rate - monetary value of cost of work item, service;

pricing - process of establishment and use of the prices (rates) for goods (work, service) in this market during the considered period;

price system - the set of the different elements of the mechanism of pricing governing price behavior and the economic relations between participants of the national and world markets fixed by the legislation;
