1. State committee of standardization, metrology and certification:
strengthen control of quality and safety of the foodstuff made in Ukraine, and the imported foodstuff (далеетовар) concerning their compliance to requirements and standards which are effective in Ukraine;
provide step-by-step extension of the list of the food industry which is subject to obligatory certification.
2. The goods which are implemented in retail trade shall have on labels (packaging) information in form, available to perception, stated according to the current legislation about languages and contain data about:
general name of foodstuff;
to the mass (amount);
structure, including the list of other food used in the course of tovleniye, nutritional supplements, dyes, etc.;
caloric contents;
to date of production;
expiration date and storage conditions;
name and address of the producer.
To provide to the State Customs Committee, the State committee of standardization, metrology and certification, the Ministry of external commercial relations and trade control of observance of requirements of this Item.
