About government assistance to families with children
This Law according to the Constitution of Ukraine establishes the level of material support of families with children guaranteed by the state by provision of the government monetary assistance taking into account family composition, its income and age of children and is aimed at providing priority of government assistance to families with children in general system of social protection of the population.
Citizens of Ukraine in whose families minor children are raised and live have the right to government assistance in cases and on the conditions provided by this Law and other laws of Ukraine.
The foreigners and persons without citizenship who are constantly living in Ukraine who are recognized in Ukraine as the refugees or persons needing additional protection other foreigners in the cases established by the law in Ukraine have the right to government assistance on an equal basis with citizens of Ukraine on the conditions provided by this Law, other laws or international treaties of Ukraine which consent to be bound is this the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
If the international treaty of Ukraine provides other rules, than those which contain in this Law are applied the rules established by this agreement.
The procedure for appointment and payment of government assistance to families with children and the list of the documents necessary for purpose of the help under this Law, is established by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
Work concerning appointment and payment of government assistance to families with children is organized by the central executive body providing forming of state policy in the field of social protection of the population.
