About introduction of amendments to some laws of Ukraine of rather military standards

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

I. Make changes to such laws of Ukraine:

1. In the Law of Ukraine "About defense of Ukraine" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 2000, No. 49, Art. 420 with subsequent changes):

Article 1 to add 1) with paragraphs the eighteenth - the twenty second the following content:

"military standardization - activities which consist in establishment of provisions for general and numerous use in respect of the existing or potential tasks and is directed to achievement of optimum extent of streamlining in the field of defense;

the military standard - the standard which is accepted by body of military standardization establishing for general and numerous use of the rule and manual about activities in the field of defense and is directed to achievement of optimum extent of streamlining in the specified sphere. For the purposes of this Law standards of NATO and standards in the field of defense of the NATO member state belong to military standards;

the standard of NATO - the standard developed, accepted and published by the North Atlantic Treaty Organization;

the standard in the field of defense of the NATO member state - the standard developed, accepted and published by state member of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization;

body of military standardization - body of military management to which functions development, acceptance, modification, cancellation, action renewal, promulgation, introduction and application of military standards are referred";

Article 3 after the paragraph of the eighteenth to add 2) with the new paragraph of such content:

"implementation of military standardization".

With respect thereto the nineteenth - the twenty first to consider paragraphs respectively paragraphs the twentieth - the twenty second;
