About measures for effective use of grant means of the international Global fund for fight against AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria
For the purpose of effective realization of tasks on counteraction of spread of AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria, and also ensuring target use of the grant means provided by the international Global fund for fight against AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria:
1. Take into consideration that:
the international Global fund for fight against AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria (further - Global fund) allocated to the Republic of Uzbekistan grant funds for support of the strategic programs directed to counteraction to spread of the specified diseases at the first stage in total amount 12, of 2 million US dollars, including for fight against AIDS - 4, 8 million US dollars, tuberculosis - 6, 1 million US dollars, malaria - 1, 3 million US dollars;
at the second stage of program implementation the Global fund will allocate grant funds in the amount 28, by 6 million US dollars;
executive bodies on implementation of the specified programs are: on AIDS - the AIDS Republican center, on the tuberkulezurespublikansky center DOTS, on malaria - the Republican center of the state sanitary and epidemiological surveillance of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
2. Determine that grant means are used according to the strategic programs of counteraction to spread of HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria accepted by the Republican extraordinary anti-epidemic commission of the Republic of Uzbekistan for the directions according to appendix.
3. Assign to the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan (Nazirov F. G.) responsibility for effective program implementation and target use of grant means of Global fund, including observance of the mechanism of purchase of medicines, the medical and laboratory equipment and other goods N251 "About Measures for Enhancement of Mechanisms of Approval and Monitoring of Implementation of Investment Projects, Accounting and Control of Loads of the Humanitarian Assistance and Means of Technical Assistance" is strict according to requirements of the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan of November 15, 2005.
