About modification and amendments in the Law "About Police"

Article 1. In article 10 of the Law of April 16, 2001 ZR-177 "About Police" (further - the Law):

Item 4 of part 1 to declare 1) invalid;

To add 2) with new part of the following content:

"The police in the cases established by the law shall take measures for protection of life, health and (or) property, subject to the protection provided by the law. Measures of protection in relation to persons which are subject to protection are performed by Police according to the procedure, established by the Order of the Government.".

Article 2. Add the law with Article 10.1 of the following content:

"Article 10.1. Obligations of Police when ensuring protection of life, health and (or) property of persons which are subject to protection under the law

1. When ensuring protection of life, health and (or) property of persons who are not participants of criminal proceedings and subjects to protection under other laws, the Police shall:

1) cooperating with other competent authorities, to perform bodyguard of the protected person, protection of its apartment or other property, to equip the apartment or other property of the protected person with fire-proof or signaling technical means, to replace phone number of its apartment or other personal numbers of phones or accounting registration plates of the vehicle belonging to it;

2) for ensuring personal security of the protected person to provide it individual protection equipment, and also to report to him about the expected danger;

3) to transport the protected person on temporary or permanent residence to other residence.".

Article 2. This Law becomes effective for the tenth day after its official publication.
