About cooperation in the field of information
The ministry of information of the Republic of Belarus and the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tajikistan which are hereinafter referred to as by the Parties, sharing mutual desire to develop the friendly relations between both countries and the people,
attaching special significance to development of cooperation in the field of mass information,
being guided by articles 5 and 10 of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Belarus and the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan about cooperation in the field of culture and art of May 15, 1996,
agreed as follows:
The parties will encourage and develop regular exchange of information materials about political, economic, social and cultural life of both states.
The parties will develop cooperation between subjects of information activities, including printing and news agencies, and also between publishers and distributors of printing editions.
The parties will use available modern information technologies for the purpose of exchange of printed and audiovisual materials.
For optimum implementation of this agreement of the Party will encourage on mutual basis regular exchange of delegations for the purpose of the best acquaintance with the country and activities of colleagues, the organization of professional conferences, and also participation in the international exhibitions, seminars, conferences and other events in the field of mass information held in the territory of the states of the Parties.
The parties will give necessary assistance to correspondents of mass media of one Party in the territory of the state of other Party for implementation of their professional activity, on condition of observance of the national legal system of the state of the host party by them.
