attaching importance to strengthening of mutual business contacts between the Ministry of external commercial relations of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of external commercial relations and trade of Ukraine,

confirming intentions to promote transition to market economy, being guided at the same time by intentions of both states to join the GATT/the WTO,

agreed as follows:

Article 1

It is regular to communicate about the national legal system regulating foreign economic activity including in the following directions:

- on tariff and non-tariff regulation;

- about the taxation system, including for foreign firms;

- about investments, including foreign states and protection of foreign investments;

- about bilateral agreements of payments on trading, uncommercial and other activities;

- about property;

- about the companies and business activity, including for physical persons and legal entities of the third countries;

- about procedure for consideration of economic disputes;

- about cooperation with the international organizations in the field of foreign economic activity;

- about conditions of transit of passengers and loads through the territory of each of the states.

Article 2

Provide on mutual basis statistical information, including the total amount and the nomenclature of foreign trade, and if necessary on some questions of foreign trade between the Republic of Uzbekistan and Ukraine with the third countries.
