About modification of the Single quarantine phytosanitary requirements imposed to quarantine products and quarantinable objects on customs border and on customs area of the Eurasian Economic Union

According to Item 3 of article 59 of the Agreement on the Eurasian Economic Union of May 29, 2014 and Item 55 of appendix No. 1 to the Regulations of work of the Eurasian economic commission approved by the Decision of the Supreme Eurasian economic council of December 23, 2014 No. 98, Council of the Eurasian economic commission solved:

1. Bring in the Single quarantine phytosanitary requirements imposed to quarantine products and quarantinable objects on customs border and on customs area of the Eurasian Economic Union, approved by the Decision of Council of the Eurasian economic commission of November 30, 2016 No. 157, of change according to appendix.

2. This Decision becomes effective after 30 calendar days from the date of its official publication.

Appendix

to the Decision of Council of the Eurasian economic commission of March 29, 2019 No. 31

The changes made to the Single quarantine phytosanitary requirements imposed to quarantine products and quarantinable objects on customs border and on customs area of the Eurasian Economic Union

1. In Item 6:

a) after the word of "Union" to add with the words "and movement on customs area of the Union";

b) the word is "performed" to be replaced with the word "are performed".

2. In Item 8 of the word "specified in these Requirements" shall be replaced with words "if availability of the corresponding record is provided by these Requirements".

3. In Item 9 of the word", except as specified, stipulated in Item 10 these Requirements, and also" shall be replaced with words "(except as specified, stipulated in Item 10 these Requirements), and also melons, water-melons and pumpkins in number of no more than 1 piece,", shall be replaced with words words of "hand luggage" "the international mailings".

4. In Item 10 of the word of "hand luggage" to exclude.

5. In Item 12 of the word "except as specified, stipulated in Item" shall be replaced with words "and also wood packaging material which shall correspond to Item".

6. To declare paragraph two of Item 16 invalid.
