The government of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Government of Ukraine, the Contracting Parties which further are referred to as, being guided by aspiration to further development of cooperation in the field of transport, wishing to facilitate implementation of passenger and freight traffic between both countries, and also transit across their territories,

agreed as follows:

Article 1

Contracting parties will develop and deepen mutual economic and sci-tech cooperation in the field of all modes of transport and their infrastructure.

Article 2

Each of Contracting Parties will provide in the territory, on the principles of reciprocity, favorable conditions for functioning of all modes of transport of other Contracting Party transporting passengers and loads between both parties and transit across their territories.

Article 3

Conditions, procedure for the organization of transportations of passengers, loads, movements of vehicles between the State Parties of this Agreement, and also transit across their territories and in airspace are determined by modes of transport by free standing agreements, taking into account requirements of the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the legislation of Ukraine.

Article 4

1. Contracting parties agreed to keep the existing rules, provisions, instructions, standards and specifications regulating work of transport.

2. Change, and also introduction of the new regulating documents infringing on interests of other Contracting Party are made under approval between competent authorities of Contracting Parties.

3. Contracting parties will aim at standardization of the transport legislation existing in their territories.
