The ministry of macroeconomic and statistics of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the State committee of statistics of Ukraine which are hereinafter referred to as by the Parties

being mutually interested in development of cooperation in the field of statistics, expansion of exchange of information and strengthening of interaction in work of statistical bodies of both states,

agreed as follows:

Article 1

The parties perform cooperation in the following forms:

- exchange of methodological materials and developments on creation and functioning of systems of statistics, programs and methods of carrying out statistical observations, censuses and inspections;

- exchange of statistical information on urgent economic and social problems;

- exchange of statistical editions and publications about economic and social situation of the states of the Parties and their certain regions;

- experience exchange of work on creation of the automated information retrieval bases and banks of statistical data, to implementation of new information technologies;

- exchange of information about the new directions of reforming and achievements of statistics according to international standards and rules;

- carrying out joint scientific research and preparation of engineering designs concerning accounting and statistics;

- organization of joint meetings, seminars and exchange of the best practices in activities of bodies of the state statistics;

- interaction in questions of participation in activities the international statistical organizations and events held by them.

Article 2

The parties assist the conclusion of economic contracts in general or specific fields of activity between the subordinated organizations and organizations.

Article 3

The parties will consider jointly the problems arising in implementation process of this agreement and to take measures for their decision.
