The Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine which further are referred to as with "Parties"

wishing to deepen mutual understanding and the friendly relations between the Republic of Uzbekistan and Ukraine,

in view of the Contract between the Republic of Uzbekistan and Ukraine on legal assistance and legal relations on civil and family cases signed on February 19, 1998

recognizing importance of cooperation between the Ministries of Justice of both countries,

proceeding from mutual desire to develop cooperation between the Ministries of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Ukraine, based on mutual respect,

agreed about the following:

Article 1

The parties will perform cooperation in the following directions:

1. organization of bilateral symposiums, conferences and seminars for different problems of jurisprudence and practice;

2. exchange of information about the legislation of the states of the Parties;

3. exchange of delegations of the Parties for more complete acquaintance with the organization and activities of bodies and organizations of justice;

4. implementation of exchange of specialists in the field of informatization of national systems of justice.

Article 2

Within this agreement of the Party can create the working groups on enhancement of the legislation on the subject which is of mutual interest which makes a reservation in programs of cooperation.

Article 3

For the purpose of accomplishment of this agreement of the Party will annually approve projects of cooperation the next year, proceeding from the corresponding financial opportunities.

When financing joint actions for cooperation of the Party will adhere to the principle according to which expenses on the organization and stay, and also possible medical expenses are incurred by the host party, and expenses on journey by transport there and the obratnonapravlyayushchy Party.
