The government of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Government of Ukraine which are hereinafter referred to as "Party"

recognizing the principles of sovereignty of two countries, and also the principles of the Charter of the UN and other rules of international law,

aiming at development of the friendly bilateral relations in the spirit of respect, equality and mutual advantage,

showing mutual aspiration to settlement, the Embassies of the Republic of Uzbekistan connected with activities in Kiev and Ukraine in Tashkent, on the basis of mutual consultations,

agreed as follows:

Article 1

The parties will resolve issues of ensuring activities of Embassies of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Kiev and Ukraine in Tashkent, proceeding from common interests on a parity basis.

Article 2

The parties provide on mutual basis allocation for placement of embassies and residences of ambassadors of the building up to 3000 sq.m., and also living space for accommodation of employees.

Article 3

The parties exempt each other from the rent for all rooms and the parcels of land transferred to use according to this agreement.

Article 4

The parties guarantee providing embassies with medical attendance of employees in medical institutions for diplomatic representations on a grant basis.
