recognizing that assistance to implementation and mutual protection of investments will stimulate business initiative and as a result of it will make important contribution to development of commercial ties between two states,

agreed as follows:

Article 1. Determinations

For the purposes of this Agreement:

1. The term "investments" means: all types financial, appliances and other property and intellectual values put by investors of one Contracting Party in different objects of activities in the territory of other Contracting Party for the purpose of profit earning or achievement of social effect, in particular, but not only:

a) personal and real estate, and also any other property rights, such as the right to use property as subject of pledge, deduction for debts;

b) shares, deposits, bonds and debt obligations of the organizations and companies or property share of these organizations and companies;

c) monetary claims and rights to claim on execution of the contractual commitments having economic value;

d) the freely convertible currency and currency operating in the state of investment;

e) the intellectual property right, industrial design, including copyright, the right to the patent, the right to the trademark, service mark, trade name, the invention, technologies, "know-how" and trade secrets;
