About modification of the Order of the Government No. 631/2011 about Economic council in case of the Prime Minister

Based on Item b) article 7 of the Law No. 136/2017 on the Government (The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2017, No. 252, the Art. 412), with subsequent changes, DECIDES: the Government

1. In the Regulations on the organization and functioning of Economic council in case of the Prime Minister approved by the Order of the Government No. 631/2011 (Official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2011, Art. No. 139-145, 701), with subsequent changes, to make the following changes:

Item 1 to state 1) in the following edition:

"1. The economic council (further – Council) is created in case of the Prime Minister as consultative body and:

1) carries out mission for simplification of dialogue between representatives of business community and politicians for the purpose of development of favorable social and economic climate and business environment, non-discriminatory, transparent and favorable for investments;

2) for the purpose of support and coordination of implementation process of the Agreement on simplification of procedures of trade performs functions of National committee on assistance to trade;

3) performs powers of the Advisory board on the small and medium companies.";

Item 2 to state 2) in the following edition:

"2. Council performs the activities according to the legislation, in particular Item 2 of Article 23 appendices to the Protocol on introduction of amendments to the Marrakesh agreement on organization of the World Trade Organization accepted by the Law No. 129/2016, article 10 of the Law No. 179/2016 on the small and medium companies and this Provision.";

Item 3 to add 3) with subitems i) - p) the following content:

"i) identification of key problems, requests and requirements of the small and medium companies for the Republic of Moldova;

j) representation to the Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure of opinion of business community on problems and interests of the small and medium companies;
