2. Determine the main objectives and activities of SEZ "Nukus":
attraction of direct foreign and domestic investments for the organization of modern productions of the import-substituting products demanded in the foreign markets with high value added;
ensuring complex and effective use of potential and resource production regarding cultivation of medicinal vegetable raw materials of the Republic of Karakalpakstan in peculiar natural conditions for subsequent its conversion;
creation of new productions on deep conversion, storage and packaging of fruit and vegetable and agricultural products, and also the clothing, footwear, tanning and haberdashery, food, electrotechnical, mechanical, automobile building, chemical industry, industry of construction materials, productions of modern pharmaceutical products and medicines with high value added, first of all based on medicinal vegetable raw materials and medicines (substances) which are grown up on the plantations created in accordance with the established procedure;
establishment of strong cooperation bonds on production organization based on domestic raw materials and materials, and also deepening of processes of localization of production of high-tech products among members of free economic zones on the basis of development of industrial cooperation;
