About classification of quadcopters according to the single Commodity nomenclature of foreign economic activity of the Eurasian Economic Union

According to paragraph 1 of Item 1 of Article 22 of the Customs code of the Eurasian Economic Union the Board of the Eurasian economic commission decided:

1. The quadcopter representing the four-screw aircraft equipped or not equipped with photo and video equipment or other equipment, having the built-in receivers of navigation systems (GPS, GLONASS, etc.), managed by the operator remotely from the earth or from other aircraft, and also capable to the automated flight (automatic take off and landing, following along in advance programmed route without intervention in flight control), used for the different purposes, according to the Basic rule of interpretation of the Commodity nomenclature of foreign economic activity 1 is classified in goods item of the 8806th single Commodity nomenclature of foreign economic activity of the Eurasian Economic Union.

2. The quadcopter representing the four-screw aircraft which is not equipped with photo and video equipment or other equipment, managed by the operator remotely and controlled by visual observation not capable to the automated flight, used for entertainments according to the Basic rule of interpretation of the Commodity nomenclature of foreign economic activity 1 is classified in goods item 9503 00 single Commodity nomenclatures of foreign economic activity of the Eurasian Economic Union.

3. This Decision shall enter into force upon the expiry of 30 calendar days from the date of its official publication.
