About funds of compulsory medical insurance for 2006

Article 1. Funds of compulsory medical insurance for 2006 affirm:

according to the income - in the amount of 1527712,0 of one thousand lei;

on expenses - in the amount of 1527712,0 of one thousand lei.

Article 2. The code of the income and expenses of funds of compulsory medical insurance for 2006 is given in the appendix which is integral part of this law.

Article 3. The fee of compulsory medical insurance estimated in the form of fixed amount in absolute value for categories of the payers specified in the Law on the size, procedure and payment due dates of fees of compulsory medical insurance No. 1593-XV of December 26, 2002 is established in the amount of leu 816,0.

Article 4. The fee of compulsory medical insurance estimated as a percentage of the salary and other payment methods of work for categories of the payers specified in the Law on the size, procedure and payment due dates of fees of compulsory medical insurance is established in the amount of 4 percent (2 percent for the employer and 2 percent for the worker).

Article 5. The penalty levied from payers for failure to pay at the scheduled time of fees of compulsory medical insurance is established in the amount of percent 0,1 from outstanding amount for each day of payment delay. The amounts of penalties are transferred into accounts of National medical insurance company.

Article 6. The financial resources which are saved up on accounts of National medical insurance company, including constituting excess over the calculated annual earnings and also the amounts of penalty fee and the penalties assessed for failure to pay at the scheduled time of contributions of compulsory medical insurance are distributed on funds of compulsory medical insurance according to the interest rates established by the legislation.

Article 7. The financial resources constituting excess of the income over expenses on funds of compulsory medical insurance for the end of fiscal year can be used in the same purposes next year.
