About introduction of amendments to the Law of Ukraine "About defense of Ukraine" concerning the organization of defense of the state

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

1. Introduce in the Law of Ukraine "About defense of Ukraine" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 2000, No. 49, Art. 420 with subsequent changes) the following changes:

Article 1 after paragraph two to add 1) with the new paragraph of such content:

"the plan of defense of Ukraine - the component of defense planning containing set of documents which determine content, amounts, contractors, procedure and terms of implementation of political, economic, social, military, scientific, scientific and technical, information, legal, organizational, other actions of the state for preparation for the armed protection and its protection in case of the armed aggression or armed conflict".

With respect thereto third - the twenty second to consider paragraphs respectively paragraphs the fourth - twenty third;

Part third of Article 2 to state 2) in the following edition:

"For the organization of defense of the state the President of Ukraine on representation of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approves structure of the plan of defense of Ukraine, the plan of defense of Ukraine and military administrative division of the territory of Ukraine. The procedure for plan development of defense of Ukraine is determined by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine".

2. This Law becomes effective from the date of, its publication following behind day.
