About introduction of amendments to some laws of Ukraine concerning safety management of highways

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

I. Make changes to such laws of Ukraine:

1. In the Law of Ukraine "About traffic" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 1993, No. 31, Art. 338 with subsequent changes):

Article 4 after the paragraph of the seventeenth to add 1) with the new paragraph of such content:

"approval of technique of determination of economic losses in connection with death or wound (injuring) of people owing to the road accidents".

With respect thereto the eighteenth to consider the paragraph the paragraph the nineteenth;

2) in Article 9:

the nineteenth to state the paragraph in the following edition:

"identification of emergency and dangerous sites and places of concentration of the road accidents according to the procedure, established by the central executive body which provides forming and realizes state policy in the field of road economy";

after the paragraph of the nineteenth to add with the new paragraph of such content:

"implementation on emergency and dangerous sites and places of concentration of the road accidents of actions for enhancement of the organization of traffic".

With respect thereto the twentieth - the twenty fourth to consider paragraphs respectively paragraphs the twenty first - the twenty fifth;

Article 43 part one after the words "taking into account social and economic and ecological conditions of the specific region" to add 3) with words of "economic losses in connection with death or wound (injuring) of people owing to the road accidents".

2. In the Law of Ukraine "About highways" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 2005, No. 51, Art. 556 with subsequent changes):

Article 1 to add 1) taking into account alphabetic procedure with terms of the following content:

"security audit of highways - independent, system, technical and detailed impact assessment of project decisions on safety of highways;
