About write-off of the tax debt of the companies of water transport which arose in connection with restriction of navigation across Danube

This Law is directed to creation of conditions for stabilization of financial and economic condition of the companies of water transport which causes substantial damages in connection with restriction of navigation across Danube as a result of military operations of NATO against the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia.

Article 1. Water transportaplatelshchik of taxes according to the list approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine is subject to write-off from the companies:

the amount of tax debt on tax payment and charges (obligatory payments) in the Government budget of Ukraine;

the amount of tax debt on payment of penalty fee, penal and financial sanctions in the Government budget of Ukraine.

According to this Law the tax debt on payment of the following taxes and fees (obligatory payments) is subject to write-off:

value added tax;

income tax of the companies;

collection in the State innovative fund;

the amounts of the depreciation charges which according to the law were subject to centralization in the Government budget of Ukraine;

assignments and charges on construction, reconstruction, repair and content of public roads.

Article 2. Determine that according to this Law the amounts of tax debt added from March 1, 1999 till July 1, 1999 are subject to write-off.

The amounts of tax debt added from March 1, 1999 till July 1, 1999 and according to this Law subject to write-off and not written off, are enlisted on account of taxes and fees (obligatory payments) in the Government budget of Ukraine of the companies to which this write-off, during 2000 extends.

Article 3. This Law becomes effective from the date of its publication.
