Article 1. Bring in the Law of the Republic of Belarus of May 26, 2012 No. 385-Z "About legal regime of the territories which underwent to radioactive pollution as a result of catastrophic crash on the Chernobyl NPP" the following changes:
1. Paragraphs the seventh, the eighth and the tenth Article 1 to exclude.
2.", unless otherwise specified," to exclude from the paragraph of third of Article 11 of the word.
3. State Article 17 in the following edition:
"Article 17. Reserve
The reserve is created for the purpose of:
restrictions of access for citizens in the territory of zones of radioactive pollution from which the population is evacuated and settled out;
ensuring radiation protection of the population;
prevention of distribution of radionuclides;
carrying out radiation monitoring;
carrying out radio ecological researches;
studying of animal and flora, typical and unique ecosystems and landscapes, natural course of the natural processes characteristic of the Pripyat Polesia.
Control of the reserve is exercised of the public nature protection research establishment (further - the organization exercising control of the reserve) subordinated to the republican state body exercising regulation and control in the field of overcoming effects of catastrophic crash on the Chernobyl NPP.
Decisions on transformation and the termination of functioning of the reserve are accepted by the President of the Republic of Belarus.
The legal regime of the territory of the reserve is determined by this Law, regulatory legal acts of the President of the Republic of Belarus and provided with administration of exclusion zones and settling out and the organization exercising control of the reserve within their competence.
