About introduction of amendments to the Law of the Azerbaijan Republic "About library science"

"The state and non-state publishing houses, the printing companies which are going in for publishing activities, and other legal entities (except for the editorial offices of newspapers and magazines) shall send the turned-out printed materials:

in library of body (structure) determined by relevant organ of the executive authority - 3 complimentary obligatory copies;

in libraries of body (structure) determined by Millie Majlis of the Azerbaijan Republic and relevant organ of the executive authority according to profile - 2 complimentary obligatory copies.

The editorial offices of all newspapers and magazines issued in the Azerbaijan Republic shall send 2 complimentary obligatory copies to the libraries specified in part one of this Article.

If it is provided by the agreement signed between the customer and publishing house (publisher), the electronic options of obligatory copies determined in this Article are also provided to libraries.

The procedure for supply of libraries with complimentary obligatory copies (including their electronic options) is established by relevant organ of the executive authority.

Use of the objects included in structure of library stock is performed according to requirements of the Law of the Azerbaijan Republic "About copyright and the related rights".
