Due to 3rd anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan, being guided by the principles of mercy and humanity, based on Item 20 of article 93 of the Constitution I decide:

1. Exempt from punishment of minors, women, 60 years, and also disabled people of 1 and 2 groups condemned to imprisonment up to 5 years are more senior than men.

2. Exempt from punishment of convicts for the first time for intentional crimes to imprisonment up to 3 years or to milder pinishment, and also for the crimes committed on imprudence to imprisonment up to 5 years.

3. Exempt from further serving sentence of the persons, convicts for the first time who served two thirds of the appointed punishment sentence, and served half of the appointed sentence of punishment to transfer to colonies settlements.

4. Not apply amnesty to especially dangerous recidivists condemned for especially serious crimes for the crimes connected with narcotic substances and firearms, to members of organized criminal groups, and also malicious violators of the mode of serving sentence.

5. The decree becomes effective from the date of publication and is subject to execution within four months.
