About introduction of amendments to the Code of Turkmenistan "About the earth"

1. State preamble in the following edition:

"This Code determines legal, organizational and economic bases of management of lands and is directed to rational use, protection of lands, preserving and improvement of the surrounding environment, application of different forms of conducting economic activity on the earth, regulation of land relations.".

2. State Articles 94 and 95 in the following edition:

"Article 94. Concept of the State land cadastre and its appointment

1. The state land cadastre – single state geographic information system of documentary data on natural, economic and legal regime, categories, the quantity and quality characteristic and economic evaluation of lands, their location and the sizes, and also about their distribution on owners of the parcels of land, land users and lessees of lands.

2. The state land cadastre includes:

1) complex information on state registration of the rights to the parcels of land;

2) quantity and quality characteristics of the parcels of land;

3) information on appraisal of quality of soils;

4) economic evaluation of lands;

5) other data connected with rational use and protection of land resources, established by the legislation of Turkmenistan.

3. The state land cadastre is intended for information support of public authorities and local government bodies, other legal, and also physical persons by data on lands for the purpose of implementation of the state control of rational use and protection of land resources, holding the actions directed to preserving and increase in fertility of lands, establishments of reasonable payment for lands and procedure for its collection.
