About introduction of amendments and changes in the Criminal code of the Republic of Armenia

Article 1. Article 52 of the Criminal code of the Republic of Armenia of April 18, 2003 (further – the Code) to add with part 3.1 following of content:

"3.1. If deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or to be engaged in certain activities is provided by the Special part of this Code as obligatory additional punishment, however execution of this punishment in the form of deprivation of the right of vehicle control is impossible because of absence at person who committed crime, the rights of driving of the vehicle or because he is already deprived of this right, then obligatory additional punishment is not imposed.".

Article 2. In article 243.1 of the Code:

Heading to state 1) in the following edition:

"Article 243.1. Driving of the vehicle by person deprived of the right of driving of vehicles or with the suspended right of driving of vehicles or not having right of driving of vehicles or driving by this person of the drunk vehicle either refusal or evasion from passing of inspection on sobriety";

2) part 1 after the word is "deprived" to be added with the words "or with the suspended right of driving of vehicles", and the same part after the words "in the amount of" - the words "or arrest for up to two months with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or to be engaged in certain activities no more than one year";

To add 3) with part 1.1 following of content:

"1.1. Driving of the vehicle by person who does not have the right of driving of vehicles within year after purpose of administrative punishment for the same act:

it is punished by penalty in the amount of two hundred multiple to the three hundredfold size of minimum wage or arrest for up to two months with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or to be engaged in certain activities no more than one year.";
