About measures for improvement of quality and role of economic researches in social and economic development

In the country work on the solution of the acute system issues in the social and economic sphere which collected for a long time, to creation of conditions for providing worthy life of the population and stimulation of business activity is consistently carried out.

At the same time in activities of the ministries and departments responsible for development of specific industries of economy and the directions of the social sphere, there is no vision of long-term development of entrusted industry or the sphere, initiative in development of measures for the problem resolution and challenges in economy and the social sphere is not shown.

Besides, the due attention is not paid to ensuring high-quality and comprehensive expert and analytical study of the prepared draft documents, estimates of their possible effects.

In work of the separate ministries and departments the obsolete stereotypes which are expressed in upholding of departmental or industry interests without interests of the population and subjects of entrepreneurship, requirements of industries of economy and the social sphere continue to remain.

For the purpose of cardinal improvement of quality of the developed initiatives of reforming of the social and economic sphere, effectiveness of the undertaken reforms, orientation of the conducted researches to realization of the priority directions of reforms and increase in their role in development and implementation of measures of social and economic policy of the country:

1. Transform the Center of economic researches to the Center of economic researches and reforms under Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan (further - the Center).

2. Determine the main objectives of the Center:

carrying out analytical and applied researches for the purpose of development deeply worked, including taking into account the developed foreign countries which are successfully approved in the practician, offers on strategic directions of deepening of social and economic reforms, including enhancement of management in the field of economy, finance, entrepreneurship and the social sphere;
