About modification of some orders of the Government

Based on provisions of article II of the Law No. 311/2018 on introduction of amendments to the Law No. 289/2004 on temporary disability benefits and other benefits of social insurance (The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2019, Art. No. 1-5, 32,) the Government DECIDES:

1. In the Regulations on procedure for appointment and allowance payment to families with children approved by the Order of the Government No. 1478/2002 (Official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2002, Art. No. 154-157, 1612), with subsequent changes, to make the following changes:

1) in the subitem b) item 4 after the text of "age of 3 years" to add with the text ", according to options";

To add 2) with Item 4-2 of the following content:

"4-2. The monthly allowance on education of the child before achievement of age of 3 years by it is granted to the insured person who is on child care leave before achievement of age by it 3 years at all companies at which it performs activities, according to the following options:

a) from the date of provision of child care leave and before date of achievement of 3 years by the child of age;

b) from date of provision of child care leave and before date of achievement by the child of age of 2 years and 2 months. For the period child care leave after achievement of age of 2 years and 2 months and before achievement of 3 years by the child of age monthly allowance on education of the child is not provided.";

To add 3) with Item 6-1 of the following content:

"6-1. The monthly size of benefit on education of the child before achievement of age of 3 years by it constitutes:

a) 30 percent of the basis for calculation established in Item 37 for each child, but are at least minimum size of monthly allowance on education of the child for the insured person identified in appendix No. 2 to this Provision in case of request of the option provided by the subitem and) Item 42 this provision;
