About measures for further enhancement of procedure for appeal of citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan on military service

All this awakens in the people of Uzbekistan, especially youth, pride for national army, respect and honor for noble profession of the defender of the Homeland.

At the same time the operating system of candidate screen on military service, performing medical examination and conscription does not meet the requirements of today that requires implementation of the package of measures directed to development of more effective system in this direction, increase in combat training and potential of Armed Forces.

For the purpose of enhancement of system of appeal of recruits on military service, ensuring openness and publicity when carrying out this process, creation to candidates of possibility of the choice of type of military forces, and also exception of duplicative actions in the course of appeal on compulsory military service:

1. Determine the main directions of further enhancement of procedure for appeal of citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan on military service:

completing of armed forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan by comprehensively developed, physically strong, intellectually developed recruits;

strengthening in consciousness of recruits of feeling of national pride, commitment to the Homeland and patriotism;

optimization of the operating system of appeal of recruits on compulsory military service;

simplification of duplicative stages when performing medical examination of recruits, improvement of quality and efficiency of medical examination, and also carrying out military districts of profound medical examination by specialists of military hospitals;
