About introduction of amendments to the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "About compulsory insurance of civil responsibility of owners of vehicles"

Article 1.

Bring in the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "About obligatory insurance of civil responsibility of owners of vehicles" (Sheets of Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic, 2015, No. 7, the Art. 995) the following changes:

in Article 31:

a) regarding 1 word "Persons" shall be replaced with words "1. Persons";

b) add Article with part 2 following of content:

"2. Responsibility for non-execution of obligation on compulsory insurance is established:

1) for owners and (or) drivers of the vehicles registered in other states - since April 1, 2020;

2) for the vehicles which are in property or in ownership of legal entities, including state bodies and local government bodies - since April 1, 2020;

3) for owners of cargo vehicles, with the general permitted maximum weight more than 12 tons - since April 1, 2020;

4) for owners of cargo vehicles, with the general permitted maximum weight less than 12 tons - since January 1, 2021;

5) for owners of the vehicles used for transportations of passengers - since January 1, 2021;

6) for owners and (or) drivers of the vehicles registered according to the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic - since January 1, 2022.".

Article 2.

This Law becomes effective after fifteen days from the date of official publication.
