About modification of the Labor code of Ukraine

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

I. Bring in the Labor code of Ukraine (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of USSR, 1971, appendix to No. 50, the Art. 375) the following changes:

1) in paragraph eight of part one of Article 43-1 of the word "officials of bodies of the income and charges which gives the special ranks, and officials of the central executive bodies realizing state policy in spheres of the state financial control and control of the prices" shall be replaced with words "workers who have the status of government employees according to the Law of Ukraine "About public service";

2) in Article 49-2:

"Release of the workers having the status of government employees according to the Law of Ukraine "About public service" is performed according to the procedure, determined by this Article, taking into account the following features:

not later than 30 calendar days before the planned dismissals information concerning these actions, including information on the reasons of dismissals, quantity and employee categories which it can concern, about terms of carrying out dismissals is provided to primary trade-union organizations, and also consultations with labor unions about measures for prevention of dismissals or data of their quantity to minimum or mitigation of adverse effects of any dismissals are held".
