RESOLUTION OF THE CABINET OF MINISTERS OF UKRAINE

About features of provision of housing subsidies

(as amended on 26-10-2022)

According to Item 5 of the Section II "Final provisions" of the Law of Ukraine of March 17, 2020 No. 530-IX "About modification of some legal acts of Ukraine, directed to prevention of origin and spread of koronavirusny disease (" the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine decides COVID-19):

1. Prohibit for the quarantine established by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine for the purpose of prevention of distribution in the territory of Ukraine of sharp respiratory disease of COVID-19, of SARS-CoV-2 caused by coronavirus (further - quarantine), the termination of provision of housing subsidies in the cases provided by the Regulations on procedure for purpose of housing subsidies approved by the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of October 21, 1995 No. 848 (ZP of Ukraine, 1996, No. 2, Art. 76; The Official Bulletin of Ukraine, 2019, No. 69, the Art. 2390), except the circumstances excluding provision of housing subsidy, in particular, in case of moving of household to other premises (house) or in case of the death of lonely person.

2. Provide consideration of questions of purpose of housing subsidy for the next period to all households which received housing subsidy in the heating period of 2019-2020, without petitions from citizens about purpose of housing subsidies, without applying the requirement of Item 78 of the Regulations on procedure for the purpose of housing subsidies approved by the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of October 21, 1995 No. 848.

3. Appoint subsidy to citizens who were discharged from office during quarantine according to Item of 1 part one of Article 40 of the Labor code of Ukraine and were registered in employment service as the unemployed, based on statements for purpose of housing subsidies and information of jobcenters concerning their stay on accounting.

At the same time for calculation of housing subsidy the amount of the appointed help with unemployment without the amounts of the received salary is considered.
