About entering of amendments into the Criminal code of the Republic of Armenia

Article 1. To add the criminal code of the Republic of Armenia of April 18, 2003 (further – the Code) with Article 360.1 of the following content:

"Article 360.1. Bringing the serviceman to suicide on imprudence

1. Finishing the serviceman by other serviceman on imprudence before suicide or attempt of suicide in military unit or other place of service by threat, ill treatment or periodic humiliation of personal honor and advantage if there are no signs of parts 4 and 5 of Article 358, of parts 4 and 5 of Article 358.1 of this Code, is punished by imprisonment from four to eight years

2. The act provided by the first part of this Article committed:

1) group of persons;

2) the chief (commander) concerning subordinate (subordinate);

3) during alert or active service,

it is punished by imprisonment from six to nine years.

3. The acts provided by the first or second part of this Article, made in case of warlike situation during war or fight,

are punished by imprisonment from seven to ten years.".

Article 2. Add the code with Article 360.2 of the following content:

"Article 360.2. Bringing the serviceman to suicide with indirect intent

1. Finishing the serviceman by other serviceman with indirect intent before suicide or attempt of suicide in military unit or other place of service by threat, ill treatment or periodic humiliation of personal honor and advantage

it is punished by imprisonment from six to twelve years.

2. The act provided by the first part of this Article committed:

1) group of persons;

2) the chief (commander) concerning subordinate (subordinate);

3) during alert or active service,

it is punished by imprisonment from seven to thirteen years.

3. The acts provided by the first or second part of this Article, made in case of warlike situation during war or fight,

are punished by imprisonment from eight to fourteen years.".
