About introduction of amendments to some laws of Ukraine concerning ensuring treatment of koronavirusny disease (COVID-19)

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

I. Make changes to such laws of Ukraine:

1. Article 44 of Bases of the legislation of Ukraine about health care (Sheet of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 1993, No. 4, Art. 19; 2007, No. 34, Art. 445; with the changes made by the Law of Ukraine of March 17, 2020 No. 531-IX) to add with parts four and heel of such content:

"For the benefit of treatment of person sick with koronavirusny disease (COVID-19) confirmed by results of laboratory testing according to the protocol of delivery of health care approved by the central executive body providing forming of state policy in the field of health care on condition of receipt of the informed consent on medical intervention according to this Law can be also applied:

the unregistered medicines recommended by official organ of the United States of America, member countries of the European Union, Great Britain, the Swiss Confederation, Japan, Australia, Canada, People's Republic of China, the State of Israel for treatment of koronavirusny disease (COVID-19) in the respective country;

the registered medicines according to the indications which are not specified in the instruction for medical application on condition of availability of the proved efficiency concerning treatment of koronavirusny disease (COVID-19) and/or if such medicines are recommended by official organ of the United States of America, member countries of the European Union, Great Britain, the Swiss Confederation, Japan, Australia, Canada, People's Republic of China, the State of Israel for treatment of koronavirusny disease (COVID-19) in the respective country.

The procedure for appointment and use of the medicines specified in part four of this Article is established by the central executive body providing forming of state policy in the field of health care".
