About temporary measures for settlement of legal status of foreign citizens and persons without citizenship in the Russian Federation in connection with threat of further spread of new koronavirusny infection (COVID-19)

For the purpose of settlement of legal status of foreign citizens and stateless persons in the Russian Federation, preventions of further spread of new koronavirusny infection (COVID-19), being guided by article 80 of the Constitution of the Russian Federation, I decide:

1. Suspend for the period from March 15, 2020 to June 15, 2021 inclusive current:

a) terms of temporary stay, temporary or permanent residence of foreign citizens and stateless persons in the Russian Federation, terms for which foreign citizens and stateless persons are registered in the place of stay or are registered at the place of residence if such terms expire during the specified period;

b) stay terms outside the Russian Federation participants of the State program on rendering assistance to voluntary resettlement to the Russian Federation the compatriots living abroad (further the State program), members of their families, persons who got permission to temporary residence or the residence permit if specified persons did not drive to the Russian Federation before the expiration of 6-month term of stay beyond its limits, necessary for decision making about cancellation of the certificate of the participant of the State program, permission to temporary residence or the residence permit;

c) terms of voluntary departure from the Russian Federation foreign citizens and stateless persons concerning which the decision on administrative expulsion out of limits of the Russian Federation in the form of controlled independent departure from the Russian Federation, is made on not permission of entry into the Russian Federation or undesirability of stay (residence) in the Russian Federation;
